Edinburgh Marathon 25th May 08
10,000 runners
100 Volunteers
1,000's and 1,000's Supporters.
26.2 miles round the streets of Edinburgh.
Yes it had to be the Edinburgh Marathon.
over 40 Explorers from Fife went along to Waterloo place at 7am to help collect the bags from the runners.
After they had all been collected the convoy of lorries and mini buses worked their way through Edinburgh to the Finish line at Musselburgh Race course where we had to sort out all the bags for collection after the race.
Just as we got them sorted the winner came to collect his (2 Hr 25 mins)
The Explorers had the chance to explore the event and relax during the day.
When we left at 4pm (7hrs after the start) There were only 30 bags left so it was not to bad.
