Chief Scout Expedition 14th Sept 07This is a featured page

Over the Weekend 14th - 16th September
5 Members of the Explorers went to do their Chief Scout Expedition.
With a Change of Plan they set of from Linlithgow Canal Basin.
With only a short distance gone the first issue of the trip happened.
Barrie lost a pedal.
Luckly Shaun had just done his training with Halfords and was able to fix it with ease.
with this we were on our way again.
Time Was against us but we managed to make our detsination
(Bonaly Scout Camp Site) with it not being too Dark.

On the Saturday it was on Foot from Rathio Canal to Edinburgh Quay.
The Explorers were amazed that the canal went right through the heart of Edinburgh.
With the 9 miles completed they decided that since they had some spare time before they were due back in Dalgety Bay that they would walk across the Forth Road Bridge.

After all this they were dropped off back in Dalgety Bay.
Tierd but Satisfied that they had done what was asked.
