Recent Activities
Thursday 16th October was the UN World food day, the people behind this day, Concern Worldwide works in 28 of the world’s poorest countries working with local communities supporting long-term projects that help people access the food they need, not just this year, but for years to come. The vision of the Day extends far beyond Just providing aid to poor communities so wherever you are, whatever you're doing, think what you are eating be peaceful. No arguments in McDonalds, no food fights, no crisp rage, no raised Slurping and definitely no food hording. So if you now feel inspired to attend the Gapp Camp over the weekend 28th - 30 th Nov.

General Information

Auchengillan

Jamboree

2009
Auchengillan is a well established 50 hectare International Outdoor Centre in Stirlingshire. It is lightly wooded and set amongst
farmland with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and lochs, including Loch Lomond and yet is only a few miles from the centre of Glasgow.
The Event: Auchengillan Jamboree 2009 is an International camp for members of the Scout and Guide movements. We aim to build on the success of AJ03 by bringing young people together from all over the world for a week of fun, friendship and outdoor activities.
The Date: 1 – 8 August 2009

Up Coming Events


19th Feb - Mini Olympics
The unit is getting into training for 2012.
We are holding our own Mini Olympics

26th Feb- Go Karting
We will be heading through to livingston to see who is the champ on the track.

4th March- Conservation
We are once again heading up to Falkland to do some Conservation work in the secret Garden.#

6th - 8th Mar - Gapp Weekend
We are heading up to Douglas wood to join up with Explorers from the whole of Scotland to learn about Global awareness.
